So the other solution would obviously be: a) take one of the air conditioners, put it in the front room, and everyone keep their doors open for air flow. Then stop using the other air conditioner. GAWDDAMNIT!!! There it goes again! I just lost a bunch of what I wrote! Anyway, the other things to do are get a router so that the computer in the front room doesn’t have to be on all the time, and Roommate one puts her food in the main fridge, and keeps the fridge unplugged, except when she has overflow from the main fridge. I tell this to roommate one; she looks at me suspiciously and says “….. I’ll think about it.” Roommate number two says, “Uh yeah, well I’m really busy, I have to get up for work tomorrow, and uh… I don’t have time for this.” And when I explained the wiring in an old building she says “well why don’t we just get the land lord to fix the problem?” Uh well no, that would require the ENTIRE building being re-wired and trust me that ain’t gonna happen. “uh it’s all because roommate one has a mini fridge in her room.” And then when I told her about the Router she says “uh well, who’s gonna pay for that, you know our budget is tight….” Well we all are, between four people it ain’t much. And for Christ sake roommate two! You and Roommate three pay $367 a month between the two of you, you shop at Chinese grocery stores and eat luncheon meat, hot dogs, and ramen, BY CHOICE not necessity, Roommate number three works part-time at the LCBO (which I know pays well) and you work part time at some business office/temp agency thingy. Trust me. Even if you two work 16 hours a week, the amount of money you spend on stuff, still leaves you with a minimum of $500 at the end of the month. Do you really smoke that much pot? I mean GAWDDAMN!!! These people are what is wrong with the world! They would rather blame the other roommates appliances, have to turn on the circuit two or three times a day (thus inconveniencing everyone in the house) then get rid of their creature comforts, or move “their” possessions out of their room. God forbid you have to leave the door to your room open. God forbid we don’t fuck up the hard drive of peoples computers.
